SR 65

Project Details

This project includes the bridge replacement of SR 65 over Graham Creek in Franklin County (Bridge # 490018). In addition to the replacement of the bridge, the roadway approaches will be reconstructed as necessary to provide proper connection to the new bridge. The existing boat ramp within FDOT right-of-way will also be replaced as part of this project.

The existing capacity (2 lanes) will remain the same for the new bridge. Located within the Apalachicola River Wildlife and Environmental Area and on the Big Bend Scenic Byway, the bridge features will be designed to blend with the setting and to consider views to and from the bridge.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic impacts during construction should be minimal as their will be a temporary two-lane bridge constructed to the west of the existing alignment to accommodate traffic throughout the duration of the project.

Note: All information is preliminary and subject to change without notice.
